A while ago on Twitter I seen Purely Natural asking if anyone would fancy trying one of their products so I said, "Yes, please!". The product I chose was the Dry Facial Oil as I've been trying new skincare products recently and oils is one thing I've been trying.
When I first opened it and seen the packaging I was a little bit underwhelmed but when I actually thought about it, it's perfect for the product really. The oil is vegan and cruelty free and this packaging kind of ties in with this ethos of pure simplicity and natural products.
The way I've been using it is before I got to bed I put one squirt on my hands and just rub it into my face, particularly my cheeks which are really dry. Doing it this way means that in the morning when I put my makeup on I find it doesn't cling to any dry patches as much but my skin isn't left oily because I put it on the night before.
I think if you have really dry skin then this is worth a try, particularly if you do find that your makeup maybe goes patchy because of it. As for the company, if you are vegan and/or cruelty free then the brand as a whole is probably really suited to you.
Have you tried skin oils before?
