Glasgow Hilton Ti Room Event

Recently I was invited to the Hilton in Glasgow, along with other Scottish bloggers, to try their knew Ti Lounge which only opened six months ago.  The name "Ti" comes from the Gaelic word for tea and the room itself is described by the Hilton as "modern, fashionable and cosmopolitan lounge filled with energy and personality."  I would definitely agree with this, the room was gorgeous - really modern but still had a cosy feel to it with all the cushions and lovely decorations.

So when we arrived we were greeted with glasses of champagne and asked to chose a seat.  At first Laura and I were a bit confused as to why we had hats on our table when the ones beside us didn't but all was explained.  As well as offering Classic Cream Tea and Afternoon Tea, they also offer Confessions of a Chocoholic.  The one that we had on our table, which was definitely my favourite, was the Mad Hatter's Tea Party!  This one came with lots of little sandwhiches, cute wee cakes including gorgeous cupcakes, scones and a "Drink Me" potion.  It really was the most adorable thing ever and explained the hats!  All the options obviously come with teas and they have an amazing selection of different flavours.

I am not someone who has ever gone for "afternoon tea" or anything like that before but this might have changed my mind!  I think the fact they offer really modern, unique versions is brilliant and I would definitely love to go back.  I think this would be perfect for a girly day if you want to do something a wee bit different for a change.  You can see a full menu and prices here.
We were also told that the often have special offers on their facebook page so it might be worth giving them a like in case you ever do decide to go - they actually have an offer for the Ti Lounge right now which you can see here.

So a massive thank you to the Hilton for having us. Everyone who works at there were so lovely, they made us all feel really welcome and looked after.  I honestly can't go on enough about how friendly they all were.  They also were very generous and gave us really snazzy cocktail makers to take home which I can't wait to try!!

Also a bit thank you to Kirsty at the Scottish Bloggers Network who worked with the Hilton, was lovely to meet you!
